Alright, good news folks. The updated version of MWE is out. Included in this package are a new .dll, compiler, and some reference documentation. All said, there are five new functions. Four of them are fully documented, and one is forthcoming. There are still a few older functions that lack documentation, but I will get to those as time permits.

If you are having problems downloading with the link above, head on over to my website using the link in my signature.

Did you manage to fix the lag issue?

If so, time to get to -*test*-('")ing...

Yay! *Does the Happy Dance*

Yep, the debugging info is removed. If there was a source for lag in MWE, that would have been it. If that doesn't solve your problem then you may need to go back and optimize some code.

I should have the info on using the skill function up soon. Consider this verion final - it's only labelled WIP because it's not fully documented and there *may* be some problems yet to be encountered. If all works well in a week or so I'll do a general release.

Its awesome. I can't wait to finish my MWE Companion demo.

EDIT: Yes, I am doing three mods at once. But MWE Companion demo is an off and on thing. Re-coding can be boring, and I have to re-do some scripts in Magicka Evolved.

Good job, Tonto_101!

Also, Cid, what is your MWE Companion mod going to do?

tonto_101- 02-08-2005
My poor little compy just fried. It had it coming. I'm going to have to take a break while I get the money and replacement parts. Could be a month or two. Bad timing, but there's nothing to be done about it.

Cid88- 02-09-2005
Bunga, I'm just going to demo using MWE for companion features.

I have a question about this mwe devkit ..
Can I use it to save mwe plugs after having translated it in my language so that it work again ?
(Since any mwe esp translated into tesc and saved won't work without some special manipulation as I remind)

If yes, well even if I don't know a single step of programmation and scripting, it would make translation of mwe plugs in simple and possible for anybody.

Yep. Just go in, change the text to your liking, save the plugin in TESCS, and use the compiler on it. The document "MWE Manual" (it's named something like that at least) has a small section on using the compiler. The compiler only works on files with a specific name (health suite.esp), so you'll either need to rename the file manually, or modify the batch file provided in the package in order to compile the plugin.

Darn. I make everything sound more complex than it is. Believe me, it's really easy. rolleyes.gif

No pb

I wait for your mwe devkit to be fully documented to talk about it on the french forum ..

Bumping this thread back up to the top. I really need to get this one pinned.

I've uploaded a slightly newer version. The dev kit now includes a function to calculate sines, cosines, tangents, as well as some slightly ammended functions (ALCH objects are included in the target and inventory scan functions) and documentation. MWE will probably go for a full public release after this.

Cid88- 04-16-2005
Sine, Cosine, Tangent, here I come!

Tres bien!
